A nurse call system is installed in the nursing department. It provides patients or others with the option of calling a nurse in an emergency, as well as in case of need for other patients. It is an electronic system that is very easy to use. It consists of many individual nodes, and its structure and operation are described below:
The Responder 4000 is specifically designed to meet the needs of the entire spectrum of healthcare settings, from hospitals to independent and assisted living environments. The Responder 4000 offers more features and value than any other communication system.
The Responder 4000 optimizes communication between staff and patients so that your institution can deliver the best possible care. It takes the guesswork out of patient calls and makes things a little easier for your caregivers—providing critical staffing and staffing benefits.
Customized to meet your needs, today and tomorrow
The Responder 4000 offers your facility many, if not all, of the features of much more expensive ambulance communication systems.
Indoor stations offer voice and non-voice options, as well as traditional blue codes and assistance. You'll also find an impressive selection of staff locations - including staff on call, duty station, staff check-in, and staff assistance. Accessories include bright LED hallway lights, cushion speakers, telephone cords, a range of components designed to tailor the Responder 4000 to your specific needs.
A fundamental nurse call system that is easy to install, maintain and adapt
The Responder 4000 SLIM audio and non-audio call stations are fully backwards compatible with an existing Responder 4000 system installation. Each device can be installed in a speaker module for two-way intercom. Each station must be linked to a corridor light or a non-dome room controller.
